The Instructor

Khalil Ahmed DSA Approved Driving Instructor (car)

​Khalil has a BSc (Hons) degree in CADM (Computer Aided Design and manufacture). Before becoming a driving instructor, he worked in the IT and Engineering industry. His previous job descriptions include, Design Draughtsperson; Design Engineer; Desktop Engineer; Technical Support Analyst; Assistant to the Engineering Director.

Khalil decided to change his career and become a driving instructor in 2002. He took out a franchise and trained with the biggest name in the driver training business - BSM (British School of Motoring). After qualifying as a DSA Approved Driving Instructor in 2003, he stayed with BSM for 3 years. In 2006 he joined a local High Wycombe driving school to gain further experience. By around April 2008, he had built enough confidence and started his own driving school, namely Khalil's Wheels Driving School.

Tuition Vehicles 
Ford Fiesta Zetec (manual) and Vauxhall Corsa Design (automatic)

We believe that when you learn to drive, it's important that your training vehicle is both easy to drive and reliable. You need a car that's comfortable and easy to handle. That's why our instructor teaches in a Ford Fiesta 1.4 Zetec for manual lessons, and  a Vauxhall Corsa 1.4 Design for automatic lessons. Both cars are nippy, easy to manoeuvre around town and great on the open road.

 

Both training cars incorporate features to help you to learn at your own pace such as:
